AdSense For Beginners : A HelpFull Adsense Guide For Beginners
You’ve probably seen them everywhere, these little ads from Google. But did you know that the blog owner actually earns a few cents every time you click on one of them? If you have a website, blog, or other website that you manage yourself, you have the freedom to earn a little more money to advertise. Tipgeeks.com gives you a crash course about Adsense For Beginners.
FIRST STEP :
The first thing to do is to create an AdSense account with Google. This is a very simple form where you can easily fill in the URL of your page, what language it is, and contact information, and how to verify that you are not abusing the program by placing ads on websites not allowed, or on websites with pornographic promote. Once your account is approved, you will eventually have a PIN in the email, then fill it out. This is to confirm that you are you.
Once your account is approved, it’s time to display design. You can choose between different types, but here we will focus on the most common form, the AdSense for content. These will provide you content based on the text on your page.
For example, if you write about babies and wearing scarf, you will probably see ads of stores that carry baby products and baby bowls, and if you write about making money, you will probably get advertisements from banks, insurance companies and so on.
Create Ad Units
You can choose between two different types of ads. Ad unit will give you a box that might look like this, a little further up in this text, and a link block looks like the one on the top right of the page. You can choose between different sizes and shapes of both, recliners and standing columns, squares of different sizes and only lines with links.
This will then best fit into your web page. The best results if you use the same colors that you use elsewhere in your page, and you must commit to sneak peek some of your files. Use as WordPress blog, you will find the color codes in the file named “Stylesheet”. They differ in that there are no numbers or letters with a # front (#ffffff is the sample code for white).
If you really have no idea what colors are, what, just trial and error, copy and paste into your ad layout. Nothing lasts until you “save”, so you can easily experiment a little bit until you find the best color combination.
Once you’ve decided on the type and appearance, Google will ask you to choose a channel or a channel. You can choose to skip these, but a channel will give you pretty good information about which ads work best and deliver the best results.
How can you constantly customize your page, making it the most profitable to insert in terms of ads. Click on “add new channel / legg til channel” and enter what will distinguish this particular ad from the other. The link device that you see at the top of Tipgeeks.com left, for example, a channel I have said, “sidebarTipgeeks”.
In the next step, you can choose to call the ad itself something. The default name is the size advertised, and when you put it. It may be nice in case you have several ads in the sidebar, for example, and the need to separate them from each other.
PLACE YOUR ADS
Now you are ready to make ad, you get an html code. This copy and Lime Inn, it has to fit in the code on your page. In a wordpress blog (assuming you have it on your own domain and not on wordpress.com) you also have a plugin available as an Adsense manager, that makes life a lot easier if html is greek, and you really have no laces , After this is downloaded and activated, in fact, just go to the dashboard -> Administration -> Ad units, and paste the code where.
Then it will appear by itself as a widget (you know, these squares on the page of the blog that contains the last records, recent comments and so on) and you can just click and drag on them. You can also easily overwrite it in a post by clicking the HTML button. AdSense appears when choosing a small box between the different ones. Click on the one you want, then place it in the cursor.
The first time you place an ad, it often takes some time before it shines. So there is no need to panic if it sees how it did not work right away.
LET THE SPELLS HAPPEN
If the ads are in place and Google has figured out what to write (this may take some time if your site is new), then the magic starts to happen. People come in the page because they are looking for information on a specific topic, can see an ad that is exactly what they are looking for, or that of any other reason interesting, and click on this. Depending on which ad, you now have earned a few cents.
Month for you have earned $ 100, Google will transfer money to your account, unless you have chosen “eletronic transfer” inside account settings. You are also encouraged to pay tax information, but here in Norway you do not have to pay taxes before you have earned NOK 40 000 – in other words, you are in a hurry. They’ll just cross out of you, a non-US site with non-American activities (assuming that’s the case).
You’ll always be able to see the AdSense panel like, how much did you earn so far, and the ads that paid the best. So you just have to experiment with colors and placement, until you have found what works best for your particular page.
